Welcome to Community Pitch 2026!

What is Community Pitch? It’s a little like Shark Tank only much friendlier.

Local businesses and individuals are invited to join with us in creating a pool of funds that will be distributed to ten charities or community groups on a single night.

The ten community groups are carefully selected to ensure a broad range of support is offered. Each group is given three minutes to pitch their project to a room filled with local businesses and community members – Pitch Partners – who have generously contributed to a funding pool. At the end of the night, each Pitch Partner donates their pledged funds to the community group/s they wish to support.

In 2025 the Pitch Funding Pool reached a total of $89,500, including a $30,000 donation from Community Bank Lindfield.
Community Pitch has already demonstrated its ability to drive meaningful change - in 2026 we aim to deliver even greater impact in our community.

Local Businesses or Individuals

Calling all local businesses who want to give back to the community.

Community Pitch is your chance to hear directly from local community groups working on projects that matter, and to help fund them.

Here’s how it works. Ten community groups each get 3 minutes to pitch their project to a room full of local business owners and community members who have pledged funds ahead of the night. Pledges start at $500. Once you’ve heard every pitch, you decide which group (or groups) your pledged funds go to.

It’s a direct, personal way to give. You choose the causes that resonate with you, and you see exactly where your money lands.

Community Pitch is also a great chance to connect with other local business owners who share your commitment to the community. You’ll leave the night having supported real projects, met like-minded people, and been part of something that genuinely makes a difference right here on our doorstep.
